With each cinematic piece of work, Richie Mehta is able to explore the depths of Indian society – both good and bad. In the past, he’s debuted his films ‘Amal’ and ‘Siddharth’ at the Toronto International Film Festival and once again he debuts “India In A Day”, powered by Google India, executive produced by Ridley Scott and Anurag Kashyap and directed by none other than Richie himself.
In ‘India In A Day’, Richie stitches together crowd funded video submissions by Indian citizens – weaving a rich tapestry of culture, stories and experiences that are exclusive only to India. Watch this interview to learn about Richie’s experience making the film, and what he’s learned as a filmmaker throughout the entire process.
